Overview

Go Chatter Videos, on behalf of 7M Youth, are looking for multiple freelance content creators. Join the team at 7M Youth creating evangelistic content reaching 13-19 year olds in the UK. They are looking for multiple freelance content creators for an evangelistic TikTok channel.  You can check out the 7M Youth channel here. This evangelistic outreach is an initiative of Urban Saints. Go Chatter Videos, a Christian video ministry, has been involved in creating content and helping with the launch of the channel. They would love to connect with other content creators who they can partner with in this mission. They are seeking multiple content creators.

Closing Date: Open-ended, to start ASAP.

Interviews: Via video or phone upon application

Salary: Hourly rate based on previous experience

They are seeking multiple content creators.

*Content creators could decide if they would like to create 3 or 4 videos a month or 10 plus. This freelance role could work well around other commitments such college/university studies or part-time jobs.

**You can create content wherever you are based. Go Chatter can supply the necessary equipment and some coaching/training. From time to time they also organise team meetings in person or remotely with other content creators.

Job description

The mission of 7M Youth is to interrupt the 7 million unchurched teenagers in the UK on their screens with the good news of Jesus using social media.

Go Chatter are looking for people who can present and create content for them to use on their Tiktok and Instagram accounts. Content creators need to have a good understanding of Gen Z culture and be able to connect effectively with young people. Applications aren’t only restricted to those over 18. However if you are under 18 you will need to ask your parent or guardian to contact Go Chatter in the first instance for safeguarding purposes.

Go Chatter are constantly looking to rethink and change the type of content produced, but currently their videos tend to fall into 2 categories:

•  Silly challenges/games or popular trends
• Questions or thoughts on the big questions of life and Faith.

Silly challenges are really just about engagement and having fun together to create an audience and followers. The second category is to try and encourage young people to think about the big questions of life. This can at times be quite subtle in its Christian focus and other times more obvious. The key is to make sure that either way, those who are unchurched will be able to understand it and that it points young people to Jesus.

They’re open to working with people who can complete both video creation and editing, though they can also edit videos for you, if that is your preference.
