Content Solutions Partner – 9 Month FTCLocation:LondonDepartment:Times MediaSalary Details:Not SpecifiedAdvertising End Date:16 Aug 2024Job DescriptionThe Team: The Publishing team within News UK’s commercial department is responsible for the sales, operations and commercial product strategy and partnerships for News UK’s publishing brands including The Sun, The Times and Sunday Times. The Studio team operates in a guild capacity across both The Sun and The Times business units and is responsible for the ideation, creation and delivery of all branded content across all respective media brands.Your Role: As a Content Solutions Partner you will sit as part of the Studio team and will be responsible for developing our most significant cross-platform solutions in line with all requests for proposals from your agency patch across News UK brands, brand extensions and our Wireless properties. You must develop ideas that are aligned with our brands and add value to the reader, as well as offer the client a tailored, on-brief solution.Day to day:

  • Interrogate and win agency briefs to deliver imaginative, best-in-class solutions which convert to revenue by meeting client objectives.

Take ownership of ideas and the presentation creation, working in collaboration with Creative and Audience Planning teams.Collaborate across commercial teams to seek out, sell and implement new revenue opportunities.Develop a deep understanding of our publishing brands and their editorial pillars on each platform, including the commercial offering and benefits of each.Proactively build and maintain strong relationships within your agency patch through regular contact with partnership teams.Provide excellent levels of customer service, always willing to go the extra mile.Work with key stakeholders across the Publishing Team and within Studio to help develop new and innovative partnership ideas that will entice existing and new clients to spend additional revenue across multiple platforms.Produce accurate analytical and financial information when requested.What we’re looking for from you:

  • You will have a strong cross-platform creative approach, with a proven track record of developing insight-led ideas that answer agency solutions briefs and meet key client objectives.

Thrives in a highly autonomous environment with demonstrable entrepreneurial skills, able to work collaboratively with others .Knowledgeable and curious about the latest developments in content partnerships within the wider market.You will have considerable experience of dealing with the most senior agency personnel including, but not limited to, Heads of Partnerships, Investment and Strategy.You will have excellent presentation skills and experience of delivering your ideas with conviction to large groups of senior marketers.Be extremely proficient in the use of PowerPoint / Google Slides to help the team create best in class proposal documents, which include mock-ups where necessary.Proven track record of success within a media sales environment, selling across multiple platforms.Good understanding of agency structure and buying process.Familiarity with media research and measurement systems (Pamco, comscore, NRS, TGI).What’s in it for you?We love our business and what we do.
