Job Description
-
Take the lead on all contractual matters including but not limited to contract compliance, change management, cost reporting, and claim mitigation strategies.

Ensuring that all contract management processes and procedures are in place to effectively control and manage the relevant contracts.

Ensure that all necessary bonds, warranties, insurances, undertakings, etc. are in the commercial interest of the Employer and in accordance with the relevant contract.

Reviewing all incoming correspondence to assess and manage any commercial impact.

Drafting all contractual communications

Overseeing the Application and Payments process to ensure that the payments are an accurate reflection of Works on Site and are in accordance with the Contract.

Challenge and negotiate claims and variations submitted by the Contractor and provide an assessment of entitlement to the Employer based on the Contract and the prevailing law.

Take ownership and proactively manage all commercial risks/mitigation on the Project.

Review and issuance of completion certificates, final account, and contract close-out report

Provide leadership to the Contract Management function including pre-award Procurement, Contract Administration, claims management/dispute resolution, and contract close-out for consultant, supply, engineering, and construction contracts.

Represents the AECOM PMCM team at meetings with Client commercial teams, other consultants & contractors relating to procurement, contracts, and claims.

Assist the client’s Project Team members with queries regarding Contract procedures, processes, and guidelines.

Ensures maintenance of all consultant and contractor securities and insurance

Administering Consultants and Contractor’s claims including Extension of Time.

Participates in the Commercial Evaluation Panel during the procurement process.

Leads and participates in audit functions of the Contract Administration function including adherence to Employer Requirements and Procedures.

Provides formal written reports on the Contracts and Procurement status and issues to management.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or Quantity Surveying discipline or related field (or equivalent work experience)

Experience in giga projects is a must
-
Minimum 15 years post-graduate experience
-
Experience with Primavera Unifier Software preferred.

Formal qualifications/affiliations to RICS, IQS, ICES, or CIOB.
