This role offers an exciting opportunity for a driven and proactive individual to manage and enhance the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring value for money, compliance, and efficiency in our contract management processes.As a Contract and Procurement Manager, you will lead procurement strategies, negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to deliver value for money, mitigate risks, and ensure successful contract performance. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for procurement and contract management, who enjoys building relationships and optimizing processes and ultimately maximising value for money outcomes of procurements and contract management to enhance business outcomes.You will be joining a highly skilled and passionate team that fosters personal and professional development, offering opportunities for mentoring, continued learning and career progression.Our team directly supports procurements across the housing directorate but equally interfaces with other directorates in a collaborative, open, and supportive environment.About the Role:In this role you will support the procurement and delivery of contracts across the Housing Services directorate, procuring contracts for repairs and maintenance, major works, professional services, ICT systems and other contracts as required.Your role also involves managing procurements through Lambeth’s Dynamic Purchasing System (“DPS”), managing a range of housing contracts as well as working across departments and directorates to enforce robust governance, financial and operational processes are in place.Key responsibilities are as follows:
