Job DetailsOverview:JAB Recruitment are currently looking to source a Contracts Specialist for a permanent role on behalf of our Client.
Main purpose of the job is sales support and contract execution of international trade of OCTG (tubular product) including delivery coordination and accounting transactions, and supporting sales staff and managers. Key requirements include accurate, organised and prompt transactions, as well as the continuous improvement of operational efficiency.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Liaising with customers and other corporate offices regarding inquires, securing orders and contract execution. This includes customer visits if required.
Interacting with internal corporate departments such as risk, tax, legal, accounts and treasury for processing internal applications and ensuring company rules are being adhered to.
SAP & iTims input for purchases and sales
General administration duties for sales/purchase orders such as international delivery coordination, accounts payable & accounts receivable and chasing overdue invoices
Maintaining customer files and issuing accurate shipping / customs documentation
Support month end accounting procedures such as closing iTims & SAP.
Physical inventory checks at stock yards inside/outside the UK (mainly in Europe) if required (not frequent).
Minimum Requirements:
Educated to Graduate level or equivalent
Good written and verbal communication skills
Excellent Microsoft office skills
SAP skills (preferred)
Basic international trade transaction skills including a good understanding of INCOTERMS, customs clearance, trade security application, etc.

Organisation and planning
Confident & professional – developing relationships with customers and suppliers alike.
Team-player
Essential Experience:
Experience is preparing commercial offers and compiling tenders.
Experience in administering international trade (commercial terms, export documentation, VAT, Foreign Exchange), ideally in an oil & gas, steel or OCTG environment.
Experience in arranging international logistics.
Preferred:
Experience within a multicultural business environment.
Experience working with a large range of clients across different locations, and understanding complex issues that may arise as a result of different country requirements.
Experience in writing functional procedures, process, work instructions and process maps.
