For our Finance & Controlling team based in Bern and Zurich we are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our organisation as Controller Corporate Controlling. This position can be based in Zurich or Bern with regular visits to the other office.

 

In this function you will report to the Head of Corporate Controlling. You will be part of a very professional and highly engaged team and take up responsibilities in an inspiring global environment.

YOUR MAIN TASKS

  • Act as Finance Business Partner for different Helvetas operational teams: drive insights via analyses and provide the basis for financial decision making
  • Contribute actively to the continuous development of the reporting systems with a clear (internal) customer focus
  • Support the Head of Corporate Controlling in the planning & control cycle of the organization: reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis
  • Provide customer-centric, service-minded support and communication to the internal stakeholders

Participate in interesting digitization projects 

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration and Finance & Controlling or similar relevant education (Fachausweis Finanz- Rechnungswesen oder Experte Rechnungslegung & Controlling)
  • Several years of experience in Finance & Controlling, ideally in an NPO environment
  • High proficiency with ERP-systems (preferably ABACUS) and Power BI; advanced Excel skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken German and English – French and Spanish are an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills combined with a solution-oriented and conceptual work approach
  • Good interpersonal skills combined with a skillful communication approach with various stakeholders
  • A structured mind-set and an autonomous working approach coupled with a readiness to take on responsibility
