About This Opportunity
The Conversions Officer, Future Students will play a critical role in managing and responding to international and domestic applicants to support conversion and recruitment targets for priority segments, markets and programs. The position reports to the Senior Manager, Future Students Conversions and will have a performance focus to achieve conversion and recruitment goals.
The position will work closely with internal stakeholders including International Admissions, Future Students Recruitment, Faculties and Marketing and Communication to contribute to the University’s strategic outcomes.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

At the direction of the Senior Manager, Future Students Conversions, case manage international applicants across set priority segments, markets and programs to support conversion and commencements targets.

Provide advice to the Senior Manager, Future Students Conversions on areas for improvements in systems, processes and marketing and admissions information for prospective students.

Draft communications to international applicants to support them to finalise their enrolments.

Contribute to a performance-orientated and collaborative team culture that strives for excellence in service delivery.

Inform future strategy by providing market intelligence to the Senior Manager, Future Students Conversions, Future Students Recruitment and International Admissions teams on trends, issues and opportunities as a result of direct contact with applicants.

Maintain effective working relationships and regular communications with internal and external stakeholders across the University to deliver conversion activities outlined in agreed annual plans.

Establish and monitor weekly offer holders’ reports, incomplete applications reports and acceptance/enrolment reports to provide detailed follow-up and assistance to applicants.

Support the Senior Manager by providing analysis on the progress of conversion campaigns and outcomes, and provide recommendations for future plans, as required.
This is a Full-time,100% FTE, Continuing position, at HEW Level 6. The full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $86,371.95 – $92,658.90 plus super of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be in the range $101,055.18 – $108,410.91 per annum.
About You
-
Completion of a degree in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of experience and/or training.
-
Proven experience to contribute to recruitment plans and implement successful initiatives through effective customer service and relationship management.
-
Experience in providing market intelligence, conducting research, and gathering data to help assess recruitment initiatives and inform future strategies.
-
Demonstrated skills to manage workload and implement recruitment initiatives including arranging logistics, preparing budgets, and solving problems to deliver initiatives on time and within budget.

Ability to effectively develop and manage channel partner relationships to achieve business goals.
-
Highly developed organisational, analytical and problem solving skills event and ability to manage high volume workload.
-
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team for shared outcomes and results.

High level communication and intercultural skills with the ability to prepare concise reports, draft marketing content specific to the target region, and conduct presentations.

Knowledge of the Australian secondary and higher education sector.
