Carinity Education – Glendyne is a co-educational, independent school, located in Nikenbah, which offers a second chance to young people in grades 6-12 who have struggled in mainstream schooling. For over twenty years we have witnessed our young people make a positive change in their lives and graduate with QCEs and vocational qualifications.
About the role
The cook is an integral member of the team, assisting in the provision of high quality fresh meals to the residents of the facility, in support of maintaining their quality of life.
What do I need for the role?
- Experience in commercial food preparation
- Demonstrated ability in problem resolution and decision making that maintains quality customer focused service delivery
- Demonstrated experience in development of nutrition programs, food preparation and/or kitchen management within a secondary school environment advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to relate to and manage behaviour of youth at risk, nurturing their growth and development
