  • Join a newly established office that focuses on best practice academic quality and standards
  • Collaborate with divisions and faculties to support and educate on academic integrity
  • Contribute to key projects related to continuous improvement of academic integrity and misconduct related activities

The Role

  • Fixed Term (2 years), Full time (Part time of 80% may be considered)
  • Level 7 – $95,414 to $104,255 FTE pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Albury-Wodonga, Bathurst, Orange, Wagga Wagga or Remote

You will be working with the Manager, Academic Integrity in implementing a university-wide academic integrity strategy and supporting the continuous improvement of policies, procedures and processes. You will play a key role in promoting an educative approach to academic integrity through the design and delivery of resources and training materials. Additionally, you will establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the University, aiming to foster positive, student-centred collaboration.

To be successful you will have:

  • Demonstrable experience in developing and reviewing educational materials, resources, and information related to academic integrity for staff and students.
  • A solid understanding and appreciation of an educative approach to academic integrity in a Higher Education environment.
  • Proven ability to take initiative, proactively address challenges and seek opportunities for improvement.
  • Outstanding organisational skills and an eye for detail, with a proven track record of efficiently managing administrative tasks including committee support.

This includes responsibility for the course profile and, with Charles Sturt’s Academic Senate, for course quality, learning and teaching quality, and academic integrity. The Office is also responsible for Charles Sturt’s Education Strategy (2030).

The Office of Academic Quality and Standards is a dedicated and centralised team focussed on Charles Sturt policy and processes to assure the quality of our courses and subjects. The Office leads the development of policy and procedure that supports quality educational outcomes, and provides central services supporting quality and compliance monitoring and enhancement at the School, Faculty and Portfolio level; curriculum management; and, in partnership with Faculty and the Division of Security, Safety and Wellbeing, academic integrity.
