Position Summary Information
Advertisement | St. Catherine University invite applications for a Coordinator for International Student Services position. This position’s primary responsibility is the development, implementation and coordination of support and retention programs for international students, as well as creating global partnerships between the University and partnering agencies and international colleges and universities. This person is also the main Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Principal Designated School Official (PDSO) for the University, providing advising on personal, social, visa-related, vocational, and academic matters. This position also works to coordinate and educate other university personnel on these matters. Working within the Center for Intercultural Development and reporting to the Director, the person in this position closely collaborates with the Office of Student Affairs, Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Accounts, Global Studies, and more. This includes, but is not limited to: admissions process assistance (e.g. compliance, visa, documentation, arrival process) of international students, care management, and programmatic planning, execution, and assessment. This position also assists with the development and execution of the J-1 program (international student exchange) by serving as the Responsible Officer (RO) for J-1. Responsibilities include:
