Coordinator (m/f) – European news offering

ARTE continues to roll out its European development strategy with its offer of a selection of multilingual news and documentary programmes (ARTE Europe Weekly, The European Collection, etc.), distributed Europe-wide thanks to a unique partnership with digital press stakeholders and European public service broadcasters. This project benefits from European co-funding.

Your duties

• Coordinating content provision and its translation and publication on the various partner websites with the support of a dedicated team.
• Coordinating the contributions of partners and teams to the editorial, technical and communication processes, as well as distribution of the offering on partner platforms.
• Managing the project, preparing reports and evaluating the actions undertaken.
• Ensuring compliance with the project schedule and a proper monitoring of the project’s budget and administration.

Your strengths

• You have an in-depth knowledge of digital technology and are alive to editorial issues.
• You are able to come forward with suggestions and take the initiative.
• You are known for your analytical and organisational skills as well as your responsiveness.
• You are a good communicator and have a genuine ability to get people onboard, particularly in a multicultural environment.

Your profile

• Master’s degree in political science, humanities, journalism or international management.
• Fluency in written and spoken English, German and French.
• Excellent knowledge of the European audiovisual landscape.
• Professional experience of European project management, preferably in the digital field.
• Knowledge of audiovisual production is a plus.
