ROLE of the POSITION

The Coordinator of Online Education Analytics will provide business intelligence, database construction, and statistical data analysis of elements relevant to the effectiveness of University of Nevada, Las Vegas in student success, faculty activity, and resource management. The position will conduct research to inform decision making by the President, Provost, Vice Provost and other senior level administration. It will perform data extraction, information analysis, and research report tasks to provide institutional information to internal and external constituents including federal and state agencies. Additionally, will collaborate on inter-departmental and inter-campus data research and business intelligence projects.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires a Bachelor’s in statistics, analytics, math, computer science, behavioral or social sciences, information technology, or higher education related fields from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and 1-3 years of related experience in data analysis, predictive modeling, data mining, or business intelligence, including experience gained from postsecondary coursework. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.
