About the Role
We are looking for a Coordinator of Volunteers to work 22.8 hours per week (3 days), assisting seniors who lives in the North/West Region of Melbourne to participate in community life and feel socially included through meeting their needs for social contact and company through the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme ACVVS and Social Support individual program SSI.
We are seeking an outstanding Coordinator of Volunteers who can demonstrate:
- Recruit, select, induct, and train volunteers.
- Maintain client’s and volunteer’s files on ongoing basis.
- Monitor My Aged Care portal for referrals and action them.
Key selection criteria include:
- Experience in recruitment, induction, supervision, and coordination of volunteers.
- Computer and report writing skills
- Polish Speaking highly regarded
All applicants must consent to complete a national criminal record check and admin skills test. As a government-funded organisation, AMCS has to follow government directives so evidence of the COVID-19 vaccination or exemption will be required.
