Cost Centre Analyst – SAP Project – 12 month FTCBased near Feltham (car owner and full driving license needed) – free car parking and modern officesHybrid working – 3 days in the office, 2 at home£42,000 – £45,000 + 25 days holiday + up to 14% annual bonus + pension + bensRole suitable for candidates who are: Qualified by experience, or Stop studiers, or Part Qualified ACCA/CIMAGleeson Recruitment Group are delighted to be supporting our world-class, market leading FMCG client, with a Cost Centre Analyst who can support the wider Finance Team, with the day-to-day monitoring and reporting of overhead cost centres, across the business for various divisions.The successful candidate will ideally be able to start by the middle to end of June, for this 12 month FTC, and you will be responsible for:
- Working daily with the finance teams, FP&A Team, Commercial Teams and External Auditors
- Pulling together the information from budget holders to ensure the cost centres accurately reflect all relevant costs
- Ensure that all costs are in line with their expected spend, working cross functionally to improve cost management
- Providing regular reviews of individual Cost Centres with Budget Holders.
- Create reports for the various finance heads, who will review these with the Directors
- Responsible for production of Budgets and Cost Centre reports
- Take ownership of all system updates for respective overhead cost centres
- Run the monthly Cost Centre reports and send them out to Budget Holders in a timely manner
- Provide a high level commentary on significant variances
- Work closely with the Cost Centre Managers to plan and forecast future expenditure
- Create useful tools to allow managers to track and plan their spend optimally
- Complete the month end close process, ensuring accurate costs are reflected in SAP
- Ensure both local and Group reporting requirements are delivered
- Monthly variance analysis of overheads, including commentary
- Understand cost drivers and update with understanding and facilitating regular reviews with Managers
- Responsible for completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigation, and resolution of discrepancies
- Managing and reconciling Purchase Orders
- Ensuring internal controls are operating effectively on a daily basis
Ideally for this Cost Centre Analyst role, you will be able to offer:
- Part qualified or finalist accountant (CIMA/ACCA), or Qualified by Experience
- Have strong communication and networking skills to build strong cross functional relationships.
- 2-3 years of accounting experience
- Prior experience of SAP
- Be performance driven, tenacious and goal orientated with strong communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Excel, Pivot Tables, V Look-ups) and experience of various accounting systems
