About the facility
Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.
About the role
The Clinical/Health/Counselling Psychologist (“Psychologist”) for women’s clinics is responsible for psychological assessment and consumer-centred intervention within Barwon Health. This role is responsible for ensuring contemporary evidence-based psychology services for clients within the clinical setting.
The Psychologist is also required to provide secondary consultation to the treating team in relation to psychological issues associated with medical conditions with the aim of maximising the efficacy of the full range of interventions delivered. The Psychologist will also assist in the supervision to the Grade 2 Psychologists and Masters and Doctoral students.
