Main purpose of the job: 

Provide individual or in group counseling and/or education sessions to patients in accordance with MSF medical and mental health protocols and procedures, with the aim of improving their psychosocial well-being. 

 

الغرض الرئيسي من الوظيفة: 

تقديم جلسات استشارية و/أو تعليمية فردية أو جماعية للمرضى وفقًا لبروتوكولات وإجراءات منظمة أطباء بلا حدود الطبية والنفسية، بهدف تحسين رفاههم النفسي والاجتماعي. 

Accountabilities:

• Identify psychosocial, socio-economic and administrative needs for patients

• Actively promote the availability of counselling services and carry out, basic psycho educational sessions to patients (and their families when needed).

• Refer patients to specialists or other institutions for further assistance.

• Participate in the creation of any material needed for counseling activities.

• Keep files and statistics of daily activities and participate in team meetings to share experiences and discuss special cases, preserving confidentiality.

• Take active part in trainings or supervisions and support the activities manager when necessary in doing sensitization for MSF staff or external partners about mental health /psychosocial issues.

• Discuss difficulties and problems in counselling with supervisor.

 

المسؤوليات: 

• ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­تحديد الاحتياجات النفسية والاجتماعية والاقتصادية والإدارية للمرضى.

• الترويج الفعال لخدمات الاستشارة النفسية، وتقديم جلسات تثقيفية نفسية أساسية للمرضى (وأسرهم عند الحاجة).

• إحالة المرضى إلى أخصائيين أو مؤسسات أخرى للحصول على مزيد من المساعدة.

• المشاركة في إعداد أي مواد لازمة لأنشطة الاستشارة النفسية.

• حفظ ملفات وإحصاءات الأنشطة اليومية، والمشاركة في اجتماعات الفريق لتبادل الخبرات ومناقشة الحالات الخاصة، مع الحفاظ على السرية.

• المشاركة الفعالة في الدورات التدريبية أو الإشراف، ودعم مدير الأنشطة عند الضرورة في توعية موظفي منظمة أطباء بلا حدود أو الشركاء الخارجيين بقضايا الصحة النفسية والاجتماعية.

• مناقشة الصعوبات والمشاكل في الاستشارة النفسية مع المشرف.

About the Project:

سيتم تنفيذ أنشطة المشروع في عدة مواقع بهدف الوصول إلى مستويات مختلفة من الرعاية الصحية، وتشمل:  مستشفى الصدر في مدينة بغداد مركز إبراهيم العشيقي للرعاية الصحية الأولية الأسرية في مدينة المحمودية (جنوب بغداد) أنشطة السل في السجون، وأنشطة سل الأطفال في مراكز الرعاية الصحية الأولية في مدينة الصدر   ترتكز أنشطة المشروع على محورين رئيسيين:  المحور الأول: دعم واستكمال مبادرة وزارة الصحة العراقية الخاصة بخطة الكشف المبكر عن سرطان عنق الرحم، من خلال تدخل تحفيزي يختبر نموذجًا متكاملًا ولا مركزيًا لتقديم الرعاية، بهدف توسيع الوصول إلى خدمات الكشف عن سرطان عنق الرحم وإنتاج معطيات تدعم سياسات الوقاية الأولية والثانوية مستقبلًا. المحور الثاني: دمج خدمات صحية أخرى ذات صلة ضمن نموذج تقديم خدمات متكاملة، من خلال تنفيذ حزمة وقائية وخدمات كشف مبكر مخصصة للنساء. أنشطة السل: ستضمن منظمة أطباء بلا حدود – مكتب جنيف العملياتي (OCG) استمرارية الأنشطة التي بدأها المكتب العملياتي البلجيكي (OCB)، مع الحفاظ على نفس مستوى الخدمات في المواقع المحددة (سجن التاجي، مركزان للرعاية الصحية الأولية، ومستشفى ابن البلدي).

The project will implement activities in two sites, to reaching different levels of care:  Al Sadr Hospital in Baghdad City HC in Al-Mahmoudiya city (south of Baghdad) TB activities in Taji and Babylon prisons, and Ped TB in Al Sadr city’s PHCC and Ibn Albaldi hospital The activities will be based on two main pillars:  First pillar: support and complement Iraq’s MoH initiative for Cervical Cancer Screening (CCS) plan by a catalytic intervention, which will pilot an integrated decentralized model of care to scale up the access to CCS care and produce information for future primary and secondary prevention policies. Second pillar: integrate other relevant services in the “integrated services delivery model”, implementing a “preventive and screening package of care for women”. TB activities: MSF OCG will ensure continuity of activities initiated by OCB, maintaining the same level of services in the selected locations (Taji prison, two PHCCs, and Ibn Albaldi Hospital)

Specific requirements for the role:

المتطلبات المحددة للدور:

 

Education:  التعليم:	Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Counselling, Social Work, Psychology or similar. دبلوم أو درجة بكالوريوس في الإرشاد أو العمل الاجتماعي أو علم النفس أو ما شابه ذلك.
Experience:  الخبرة:	Mandatory minimum of one-year previous working experience in relevant jobs. Desirable experience in MSF or other NGOs in similar context. إلزامي: خبرة عملية سابقة لا تقل عن سنة في وظائف ذات صلة. مرغوب فيه: خبرة في منظمة أطباء بلا حدود أو منظمات غير حكومية أخرى في سياق مشابه.
Languages:  اللغات	Essential: Fluency in Arabic Language, and preferably good command in English, أساسي: الطلاقة في اللغة العربية، ويفضل معرفة جيدة للغة الإنجليزية.
Competencies:  الكفاءات	Results, teamwork, commitment, flexibility, service التوجه نحو النتائج , العمل الجماعي، الالتزام، المرونة، الخدمة
