Main purpose of the job:

Perform counseling and/or education sessions to patients, following different medical and mental health MSF protocols and procedures, in order to improve their psychosocial condition. 

إجراء جلسات إرشاد و/أو تثقيف للمرضى، وفقًا لمختلف بروتوكولات وإجراءات منظمة أطباء بلا حدود الطبية والصحة النفسية، بهدف تحسين حالتهم النفسية-الاجتماعية.

• Identify the psychosocial, socio-economic and administrative needs for patients
• تحديد الاحتياجات النفسية والاجتماعية والاقتصادية والإدارية للمرضى
• Actively promote the availability of counselling services and carry out, individual or in group counseling, basic psycho educational sessions, to patients, their families (when needed), in order to alleviate their psychosocial difficulties within the project scope.
• الترويج الفعّال لتوفّر خدمات الإرشاد، وتنفيذ جلسات إرشاد فردية أو جماعية، وجلسات تثقيف نفسي أساسية للمرضى ولأسرهم (عند الحاجة)، بهدف التخفيف من الصعوبات النفسية-الاجتماعية ضمن نطاق المشروع.
• Refer patients to other specialists or other institutions for further assistance, when necessary, in order to recommend the best support available.
• إحالة المرضى إلى متخصصين آخرين أو مؤسسات أخرى للحصول على مزيد من المساعدة، عند الضرورة من أجل اقتراح أفضل دعم متاح
• Participate in the elaboration of any material needed for counseling activities and look after it.
• المشاركة في إعداد أي مواد مطلوبة لأنشطة الإرشاد والحرص على متابعتها
• Keep files, forms and statistics of daily activities organized and up to date and participate in team meetings to share experiences and discuss special cases with other counselors, preserving confidentiality.
• الاحتفاظ بالملفات وإحصاءات الأنشطة اليومية والمشاركة في اجتماعات فريق لتبادل الخبرات ومناقشة الحالات الخاصة مع المستشارين الآخرين، والحفاظ على السرية
• Inform line manager of any problem of any kind arising during the day-to-day activities.
• إبلاغ المسؤول المباشر بأي مشكلة من أي نوع قد تطرأ خلال الأنشطة اليومية
• Take active part in trainings, supervisions/case discussions and support the activities conducted by the manager, when necessary (example: facilitating sensitization sessions for MSF staff or external partners about mental health / psychosocial issues).

MSFCH Specific Accountabilities:

 

حول المشروع:   سيتم تنفيذ أنشطة المشروع في عدة مواقع بهدف الوصول إلى مستويات مختلفة من الرعاية الصحية، وتشمل: –          مستشفى الصدر في مدينة بغداد –          مركز إبراهيم العشيقي للرعاية الصحية الأولية الأسرية في مدينة المحمودية (جنوب بغداد) –          أنشطة السل في السجون، وأنشطة سل الأطفال في مراكز الرعاية الصحية الأولية في مدينة الصدر ترتكز أنشطة المشروع على محورين رئيسيين: –          المحور الأول: دعم واستكمال مبادرة وزارة الصحة العراقية الخاصة بخطة الكشف المبكر عن سرطان عنق الرحم، من خلال تدخل تحفيزي يختبر نموذجًا متكاملًا ولا مركزيًا لتقديم الرعاية، بهدف توسيع الوصول إلى خدمات الكشف عن سرطان عنق الرحم وإنتاج معطيات تدعم سياسات الوقاية الأولية والثانوية مستقبلًا. –          المحور الثاني: دمج خدمات صحية أخرى ذات صلة ضمن نموذج تقديم خدمات متكاملة، من خلال تنفيذ حزمة وقائية وخدمات كشف مبكر مخصصة للنساء. أنشطة السل: ستضمن منظمة أطباء بلا حدود – مكتب جنيف العملياتي (OCG) استمرارية الأنشطة التي بدأها المكتب العملياتي البلجيكي (OCB)، مع الحفاظ على نفس مستوى الخدمات في المواقع المحددة (سجن التاجي، مركزان للرعاية الصحية الأولية، ومستشفى ابن البلدي).

About the Project:   The project will implement activities in two sites, for reaching different levels of care: –       Al-Sadr Hospital in Baghdad City –       Ibrahim Al-Ashiqi Family PHC in Al-Mahmoudiya city (south of Baghdad) –       TB activities in Prisons and Ped TB in PHCC in Alsadara city   The activities will be based in two main pillars: –       First pillar: Support and complement Iraq MoH initiative for cervical cancer screening (CCS) plan by a catalytic intervention which will pilot an integrated decentralized model of care to scale-up the access to CCS care and produce information for future primary and secondary prevention policies. –       Second pillar: Integrate other relevant services in “integrated services delivery Model”, implementing a “Preventive and screening package of care for women”. TB activities: MSF OCG will ensure continuity of activities initiated by OCB, maintaining the same level of services in the selected locations (Taji Prison, two PHCCs, and Ibn Albaldi Hospital)
