CARE seeks a world of hope, inclusion, and social justice, where poverty has been overcome and all people live in dignity and security. CARE places a particular emphasis on women and girls, their dignity and empowerment to lead their communities out of poverty. For 78 years, CARE has led the way to a better life for the world’s most vulnerable people. This year, CARE and partners worked in 109 countries, reaching 167 million people through more than 1,600 projects.

CARE Jordan has begun a new chapter in development assistance. While we continue to provide services directly at a smaller scale, we’ll focus more on sharing knowledge of what works with local partners and guiding grassroots organizations on proven approaches to achieve gender equity, grow food, conserve water, and reduce poverty.
