As the Country Programmes Manager, you will play a pivotal role in establishing VVOB’s presence and programmes in Tanzania, by recruiting and shaping the team around you, leading them ambitiously forward, and bearing the final responsibility for the totality of all activities in the country. You carry out the vision and mission of VVOB in Tanzania and you develop our business further, contributing to global business development.
Purpose of the function
As our Country Programmes Manager, you are responsible for all VVOB operations within Tanzania and you develop and inspire the staff around you. You are actively engaged in strategy and policy development at global organisational level and you translate these global strategies and policies into relevant and scalable strategies, policies and programmes at the country level. As a leader, you ensure that VVOB in Tanzania lives and implements VVOB’s Learning Unlimited strategy.
