About ITF
The International Transformation Foundation (ITF) is a youth-led non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals and communities through transformative education and sustainable development. Established in 2010, ITF collaborates with communities, government agencies, and youth to address critical global issues such as poverty, access to education, and the right to clean drinking water. ITF’s volunteer program aims to inspire change among young people, promote resilience, and create equitable opportunities for growth and development. Our projects focus on building local capacities, fostering innovation, and promoting sustainable practices to ensure a lasting positive impact on the communities we serve.
Current Projects Include:
- JIJENGE KIJANA FUND: A youth livelihood initiative that provides micro-credit, micro-saving, and entrepreneurial training to empower beneficiaries in establishing stable livelihoods.
- ERASMUS PLUS PROJECTS: An EU-supported program promoting sustainable development in education, training, youth, and sport.
- Water Kiosk at School: A student-managed business that sells clean tap water to local residents at affordable prices.
- Public Drinking Water Fountain: The installation of sustainable drinking water fountains (refill stations) in key public locations, providing free access to clean water.

ITF registered as an international NGO in Rwanda and set up an office in Muhanga District. The organization is currently implementing the Water Kiosk at School project in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, which provides a list of schools and recommendations for registration with the Rwanda Governance Board.
