Countryside Operative

We are seeking operatives with an interest in nature and conservation, to join our environmental construction arm of the business. Candidates must enjoy a fast paced outdoors all-weather environment, willing to turn their hand to new skills, completing projects such as paths, bridges, boardwalks, water defences, habitat management and further countryside projects.

The Role

Permanent employment of 45 hours per week.

Our Countryside Operatives will be on the front line completing our projects to the highest standards, but also engaging with the public in a friendly manner, presenting themselves and the company in a positive light. The position will take you across the South of England, exploring new places and experiencing new ways of working, completing a wide variety of projects.

The Ideal Candidate would have

• Clean Driving Licence
• Degree in a related field
• GCSE in Math & English
• Good communication skills and team player
• Good understanding of H&S within the work environment
• Able to follow instructions, procedures and policies
• CSCS certification
• NPTC/Lantra/City and Guilds Qualifications in tools and machinery use
