Countryside Ranger

We’re recruiting a Countryside Ranger to join The Greensand Trust Ranger Service working across
Central Bedfordshire.

The Trust has developed and established a comprehensive ranger service which looks after a
range of countryside and park sites which we own or manage on behalf of local authorities and
private landowners. The aim of this service is to support high quality countryside recreation
facilities whilst conserving the special landscape, wildlife and historic aspects of sites and
increasing the public’s awareness of environmental and local countryside issues.

We are looking for an experienced and skilled individual to work with our established ranger
team. Our Ranger Team supports approximately 15 officers, as well as approx. 100 practical
conservation volunteers, delivering conservation / practical activities across the area.
