**SUPPLEMENTAL POSTING **
This appointment is for a fractional teaching load; the incumbent will be responsible for delivering two weeks (6 lecture hours) of the course content specifically related to the topics of multi-criteria decision-making in the context of sustainability in engineering and design. The content delivery is expected to take place approximately during weeks 6 and 7 of the course (February 12th and 19th). The course will be co-taught with a McGill Faulty member.
Teaching Qualification Requirements
Education :
Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in Engineering, or a closely related field
Experience :
Teaching experience in university environment in English
Other qualification requirement(s):
Knowledge of the role and importance of engineering decisions of environmental, social, and economic problems and the application of decision-making approaches and tools to engineering sustainability. Demonstrated knowledge of multi-criteria decision-making concepts; specifically, MCDM techniques (e.g., Topsis, AHP, Promethee, etc.); critical comparison of MCDM problems; ranking, prioritization, and assessment of the parameters and criteria affecting decision-making and case studies relating to sustainability in engineering. Demonstrated past experience in sustainability in engineering and design or sustainable development through graduate education and/or teaching.
