Mentis Assist is a leading not-for-profit Community Managed Mental Health Service (CMMHS) established in 1987. We specialise in supporting individuals with severe mental health conditions by delivering flexible, recovery-oriented services. What You’ll Do

  • Lead a new, dedicated team committed to making a positive impact on the lives of people with mental health issues.
  • Provide recovery focused, person-centred wellbeing services to individuals facing mental health and other complex challenges.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to support and enhance the wellbeing of clients.
  • Foster a supportive and collaborative team environment, ensuring the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the referral process and allocate resources efficiently.
  • Liaise with various health providers to ensure integrated service delivery.
  • Coordinate with the Mental Health Integrated Complex Care (MHICC) program
  • Supervise and provide ongoing support to team members across multiple sites.
  • Monitor and report on program deliverables and staff performance.
  • Foster a professional environment conducive to recovery-oriented practice.
  • Ensure compliance with the Victorian Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2023.

About You

  • Demonstrated experience in mental health settings.
  • Proven leadership experience in community mental health programs.
  • Familiarity with legislation and standards affecting mental health services.

Qualifications Required

  • Advanced Diploma of Mental Health or similar.
  • Higher qualifications (i.e. Degree or Dual Qualifications) in mental health, community services, alcohol and other drugs, or similar will be highly regarded.

Additional Requirements

  • Compliance with National Employment Standards and relevant awards.
  • Satisfactory completion of pre-employment screening checks.
  • Right to work in Australia.
  • Possibility of flexible work hours including weekend and evening shifts.
