CREATE Research Project Manager
 

Job Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to manage the day-to-day details of a large scholarly project in the school especially in regard to training and supervising students and nurturing relationships with the public participants.
  

Essential Functions

• Supervision of Student Research Assistants
• Recruitment and Retention of National Samples
• Data Management
• Manage Website and Social Media for Studies

• Education/Experience:

Required skills, abilities, knowledge, licenses, certifications:

• Self-starter and manager who does not need external pressure from supervisors to perform well
• Relationship skills necessary to build strong relationships with students and faculty whose research is integral to the scholarly data
• Supervisory skills necessary to manage both undergraduate and graduate students in sophisticated data gathering and analyses processes
• A high level of organizational and social skills to keep teams motivated and working well together
• Excellent diplomacy skills interacting with the public and research participants to keep them involved in the study across many years
• Must understand research methods, have some knowledge of statistical software and database management
• Working knowledge of Qualtrics, Excel, Learning Suite, and Website management software
  Employee Class: 3/4 Time (28 hour)
  Work Location: Provo Campus
  Environment: General office or other equivalently good environment

  Approximate Starting Salary: $23.75 – $31.00/hour
