The position is located in the Programme Office in Bangladesh (POBGD), with the duty station in Dhaka, operating under the Regional Office for South Asia (ROSA) located in Delhi, India, Division for Operations (DO), United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). The incumbent will work under the overall supervision of the UNODC Representative of ROSA and the technical guidance of the GLO.ACT Project Coordinator (Global Action against Human Trafficking and Migrant Smuggling), Human Trafficking and Migrant Smuggling Section (HTMSS), Organized Crime and Illicit Trafficking Branch (OCB), Division for Treaty Affairs (DTA), as well as under substantive and policy guidance from the Chief, HTMSS/OCB/DTA. The initiative works alongside partner countries in developing and implementing more effective national and international responses to trafficking in persons and migrant smuggling, especially in South Asia.
