Here at QED Legal, we are always in the loop with the newest and hottest vacancies that come up in the market, some that are even exclusive to us!Here we have a fantastic opportunity that has arisen: This role is with a Legal 500, leading firm in Leeds who has won multiple awards including the Yorkshire Legal Large Firm Of The Year award and is a heavy weight in the Criminal Law Practice area.If you are a Criminal Lawyer based in Leeds or looking to relocate to Leeds then this may be the role for you.The ideal candidate for this role is a Criminal Lawyer who is 1 – 4 years PQE and has duty accreditation; if you are NQ, this is an open role for you too! You will also have a proven track record of handling criminal cases from start to end, be able to handle tight deadlines, demonstrated a strong work ethic and have excellent communication skills.Salary: £36 – 42k DOE (Full time)General responsibilities of the role include but is not limited to:

• Undertaking Police Station, Magistrates Court and Crown Court work
• Bail applications
• Representing Clients detained at police stations
• Drafting instructions to counsel and expert witnesses
