What we are looking for

An enthusiastic, data-driven team player to shape supporter journey success and drive innovation. Reporting to the Head of Performance, Growth & Insights, the CRM Journey Specialist will join and support the team in achieving acquisition and retention goals through supporter-centric customer journeys. Your primary responsibility is to create, deliver, and optimise supporter journeys that enhance the experience, boost engagement, and drive sustainable revenue growth by inspiring regular contributions to UNICEF Australia.

Your day will include:

  • Responsible for creating, delivering, and optimising supporter journeys across email and SMS using Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Development and implementation of best practice email marketing and journey building across all communications, utilising Marketing Cloud Journey Builder to optimise and build new journeys
  • Manage execution, quality control, approvals, ongoing reporting, and optimisation of email campaigns including design, content, audience segmentation and testing plans
  • Perform regular analysis and reporting of campaigns performance and audiences to inform future planning
  • Collaborate with a Salesforce Marketing Cloud partner to ensure the best practices and optimal utilisation of marketing automation platforms and strategies.
  • Advocating for email marketing and ensuring that the organisation adheres to best practices in email communication and marketing automation
  • Support UNICEF Australia’s emergency response by providing immediate support in setting up a fundraising response, coordinating and executing the email and SMS strategy and supporting other channels such as UNICEF Australia’s website, search, and social media

We would like you to have the following skills and experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and a proven record of accomplishment in coordinating and executing email marketing programs
  • Demonstrated ability to curate and produce content to support engagement and conversion objectives via email communications
  • Understanding of Salesforce products integration, including Sales Cloud, Journey Builder and Marketing Cloud Advertising is a plus
  • Desired skills include design editing, HTML5/CSS proficiency, JavaScript expertise and a preference for SQL knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under time pressure while maintaining strict attention to detail
  • A passionate and energetic team member with a genuine interest in working in the international aid and development sector
