This is a permanent position with an immediate start, offering a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being in the office full time. Must be a driver with own transport due to location.

Role Overview:

Working collaboratively in a team, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring efficient and helpful customer service, focusing on order processing and timely deliveries. This role is perfect for someone with strong interpersonal skills who thrives in a dynamic office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to emails, website requests, and phone inquiries while proactively managing your workload.
  • Inform customers of out-of-stock items and provide suitable alternatives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to process orders effectively and meet customer requirements.
  • Accurately register and record customer complaints.
  • Investigate and resolve customer delivery issues with third-party couriers.
  • Verify customers’ account status before dispatching sales orders.
  • Process credit/debit card payments for non-account holding customers.

Ideal Candidate Qualities:

  • Previous administration/sales ordering process experience.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, telephone-based customer service environment.
  • Competent in using Microsoft Outlook.
  • Experience in call center-type work with a high volume of calls.
  • Proficient in handling customer complaints and order processing.
  • Efficient and friendly telephone manner, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to stay calm, be a team player, and prioritize tasks.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time permanent role.
  • Office-based, Monday to Friday, 8:45 am – 4:45 pm.
  • Hybrid working opportunity after a successful 6-month probationary period (up to 2 days from home).
  • Benefits include Simply Health plan, 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays and an additional birthday day off, pension, and free onsite parking.
  • Must be a car owner/driver due to location.
