Within the Reifenhäuser Group, we work with passion and pioneering spirit – become part of our team and contribute to our company’s success.Your profile– Diploma or degree in electrical, mechatronics, or plastics engineering or comprehensive and versatile “on-the-job” experience
– 3+ year’s related work experience in field service in an industrial environment, preferably in plastic processing machinery
– Ideally in-depth knowledge of automation systems as well as process engineering (or one of both and training of the missing skills will be done in Germany)
– Being self-motivated and strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
– Excellent communication in interaction with internal stakeholder and external customers also under stressful conditions
– Fluent in verbal and written Italian and English
– Driving license is required and willingness to travel frequently in Italy, based on a flexible scheduleYour duties and responsibilities– Perform troubleshooting and service for our blown film, cast and sheet extrusion lines at our Italian customers with a focus on electrics and process engineering
– Communicate with intercompany teams to assist customer solve technical issue
– Determine and assess technical condition of equipment and systems, overseeing inspections, maintenance and upgrade of lines
– Record and specify warranty claims, determine the scope of damage, jointly clarify corrective actions and execute in accordance with specification
– Provide technical consultancy to customers and promote service products (spare parts, maintenance, modifications and trainings) in alignment with our sales team
– Provide technical training to operators and maintenance staff
