For the Prague headquarters, specifically for the newly established cyber security team, we are currently looking for a colleague for the position of Cyber Security Specialist . We are a newly established team of IT professionals specializing in organizational cyber security. We provide security IT services for our colleagues in the Prague headquarters, on missions around the world and in the regions of the Czech Republic. Our work combines technical know-how with the support of an organization dedicated to development aid, human rights and field work in the Czech Republic.

Who are we looking for? 

Is the area of cyber security within IT one of your interests? Are you attracted to activities associated with the development of an information security management system? Does risk assessment in the area of information security, definition of security standards, evaluation of cyber incidents and processes such as monitoring and Incident Response tell you anything? Or at least you have excellent IT knowledge and would like to move professionally to security issues? Then definitely read on! What we offer you:? 

• Employment contract : contract for an indefinite period of time with an agreed start date? 
• Time : full time? 
• Form of work : a combination of work in the office and work from home, after 6 months up to 50% of working time? 
• Salary : 60 – 65,000 CZK gross per month, depending on your seniority? 

What will be the content of your work? 

• Building and developing an information security management system in the organization under the leadership of the head of the cyber security department; 
• identification and assessment of risks in the field of information security, preparation of mitigation proposals and project management in connection with the implementation of security measures; 
• evaluating cyber security incidents;  
• definition of security standards and creation of internal regulations;  
• research and selection of available security technologies and management of their implementation;  
• managing security permissions;  
• cooperation on building a new team, setting up processes (e.g. monitoring, Incident Response), internal communication, training colleagues; 
• providing professional consultations to colleagues in the Czech Republic and abroad; 
• communication with suppliers of security solutions and IT services. 

Requirements

How do we imagine you?  

• Experience : you have a broad overview of IT (at least 4 years of experience) and at least 1 year of experience in information security. The position is not suitable for IT beginners. 
• Knowledge : we need you to be knowledgeable in server and network administration (both Windows and Unix), with advanced administrative skills a significant advantage.  
• Education : Secondary or university education in a technical field (university education in information security, programming or system administration would be a great advantage). 
• Language skills : knowledge of Czech and English at communicative level (B2) is a requirement, you can communicate effectively and sensitively in both languages even under pressure. 
• Independence : you can work independently, reliably and are willing to learn new things independently.? 
• Communication and teamwork : you communicate openly, you actively cooperate with the team and you enjoy helping your colleagues. 
• Advantages : experience with penetration testing and practical knowledge of the most used security standards are welcome.
