Data Analyst and AI Apprentice

About the role

Sitting in the IT team, you will work alongside our data analytics colleagues to improve our use of data in the areas of analytics, operations, marketing and software testing.  

As part of this role you’ll also champion our use of advanced analytics by supporting us to assess our readiness to implement advanced analytics solutions, identify areas of our operation that could benefit from using advanced analytics, researching different technologies and building analytics and AI MVP’s and Proof of Concepts.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively maintain and promote Compassion UK’s Christian ethos and values
  • Implement tools for audience segmentation and targeting in digital marketing campaigns, and for predictive analytics to forecast supporter behaviour.
  • Develop models for intelligent automation of routine IT tasks and processes, and implement AI-driven root cause analysis for complex IT incidents.
  • Explore and build capabilities for anomaly detection, clustering, segmentation, time series analysis, and causal inference to understand data patterns, irregularities, and impacts.

 

The successful candidate will be:

  • Proven interest in data analysis (this could be from formal studies, self study or the workplace)
  • Some experience of using data tools (e.g. SQL, Python, R, visualisation tools such as Power BI / Tableau etc) would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Some understanding of AI technologies and web/software development
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and remotely

 

Essential qualifications

  • 7 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grades 9-4 or A-C including English and Mathematics
  • 3 A Levels (or equivalent) at grades A*-C in any subject but preferably one in a numerical or computing subject

Salary: £27,800

Location: Fleet (GU51 2UT) the successful applicant will be required to attend our offices for a minimum of three days per week
