Job description

As a Data Analyst, your primary purpose is to refresh, maintain, generate and document reports, dashboards and processes to assist with the communication of program and organisational performance to key stakeholders. Progressively over time, the Data Analyst will apply their skills, developed through on-the-job training and mentoring, to develop Power BI reports and dashboards. By ensuring data accuracy and integrity, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the company’s data-driven decision-making processes.

About You

Minimum Qualification:

  • Degree qualification in a data related discipline such as Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or IT.

Technical Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in similar role, working with large data sets or a recent graduate in a data related discipline.
  • Exposure to BI tools such as Power BI, to develop reports and dynamic dashboards.
  • Understanding and strong willingness to develop technical expertise in reporting, data visualization, data modelling and analytics concepts.

Other Skills:

  • Ever-curious mind wanting to find the “why” behind the “what” and always looking to improve processes and automate where possible
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on process and quality control.
  • Comfortable with changing priorities, ambiguous requirements, small internal team & external service providers.
  • Ability to engage & collaborate with a range of stakeholders to achieve outputs & positive outcomes.
  • Proven questioning, training, and presentation skills.
