This also includes necessary cross-platforms/technology integrations with other enterprise and non-enterprise solutions which requires you to build effective partnerships with business (Commercial, Medical Affairs, Finance, Legal, Procurement, Corp. Communications, Ethics & Compliance, HR, etc.) and technical stakeholders (Information Systems/DigitalX, external vendors/suppliers). With your keen focus on ensuring these business applications are fit for business, your role needs to foster trusted collaboration, communication, and strategic alignment with the mentioned groups to further mature and elevate this Ecosystem.Hybrid Working:At Astellas we recognise the importance of balancing your work and home life, so we offer a hybrid working solution allowing time to connect with colleagues in person at the office alongside the flexibility to work from home; optimising the most productive work environment for you to succeed and deliver.Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage multiple SharePoint-based business applications, collaborating with the Head of Data Strategy.
  • Lead the strategic evolution of the Commercial Insights SharePoint Ecosystem in line with technology roadmaps.
  • Manage a technical team ensuring system stability, enhancements, and adherence to enterprise standards.
  • Co-lead the BPMS Value Team, fostering collaboration across Commercial, Medical Affairs, and IS/DX.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support data strategy, analytics, and integrations.
  • Champion Agile methodologies, driving innovation while ensuring technology aligns with business needs.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a STEM field.
  • Senior business Product Owner experience managing web-based applications and operations.
  • Expertise in Microsoft SharePoint (preferably Online/365) and related Microsoft products.
  • Knowledge of web application design, integrations (APIs, AI, JavaScript), and data warehousing.
  • Proficiency in BI tools (SAP, Qlik, Tableau) and Agile/SDLC project management.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a STEM field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, MS SharePoint) preferred.
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and project management tools (Azure DevOps, MS Project).
  • Deep understanding of SDLC, business applications, and data operations in Life Sciences/Pharma.
  • Experience managing data architecture, engineering, and reporting across Commercial, Medical Affairs, and Finance.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise and external Commercial data sources in the Pharma/BioPharma industry.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Additional Information:

  • This is a permanent, full-time position.
  • Position is based in the Canada or UK.
  • This position follows our hybrid working model. Role requires a blend of home and a minimum of 1 day per quarter in our local office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
