Job Description:A British passport is a requirement for this role to meet the security clearance eligibility.Responsible for effective delivery of technical support and installations. This will include break-fix tasks,includes hardware, network, cabling and rack deployments, site planning, problem escalation and managinginstallations in an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) datacenter.Prioritize ticketing queues, resolving escalations, and clearing blocking issues to enable continued delivery oftechnician activities in accordance with internal polices and service level agreements.Provide 24×7 site coverage for Oracle OCI datacenter sites.Career Level – IC2Responsibilities:Effective delivery of technical support and installations. This will include break-fix tasks, includes hardware,network, cabling and rack deployments, site planning, problem escalation and managing installations.Works primarily at an Oracle datacenter in a “mission critical operations” environmentRequires a 7×24-hours commitment to participate in the regional standby rotation program and shift.Involves On-call shifts which means a driving license and the ability to reach the datacenter site within 60mins.Work in close collaboration to other technical teams & non-technical teams (e.g networking, compute,compliance, business operations)Understand internal customer problem and provide technical solution in timely mannerParticipate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all production serverhardware, softwareSupport deployment of on-site data center physical infrastructure, structured cabling installation is asignificant part of this positionInstall, Replace and Troubleshoot Cables and HardwareWork within a ticket-based environmentAble to prioritize ticketing queues, resolving escalations, and clearing blocking issues to enable continueddelivery of technician activities in accordance with internal polices and service level agreements.
