PURPOSE:

Working as part of the MERL team in the WfWI-Iraq Mosul center, assist in the collection of data and information from the program participants and community members according to established WfWI M&E guidelines and standards.

 

Duties and responsibilities:

  1. Participate in the pre-selection of new program participants and collect and record information as required.
  2. Assist in the registration of men into the program and submit a report of specific observations about the process, highlighting any errors to be corrected in subsequent registration.
  3. Complete the intake and sampling baseline forms for all new participants as they enroll in the program for men.
  4. Participate in Focus Group discussions with participants if/as instructed, and submit a report with findings, as well as any pertinent observations about the focus group process.
  5. Participate in market assessment for any new areas that are required to establish a program in it.
  6. Work with men to collect other data and information as needed as requested by the supervisor.
  7. Complete end-line forms for all participants as they are finishing their program cycle and submit a report on each of the evaluated groups.
  8. Work closely with the program teams to capture all relevant data and information from program participants throughout the program cycle.
  9. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all forms and other information required.
  10. Maintain an accurate and up-to-date filing system.
  11. Assist in the photocopying of forms as needed and ensure the transmission of completed forms to the office by the required due date.

 

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. At least a Diploma; additional post-secondary studies are an advantage.
  2. At least two (2) years of relevant work experience, preferably in the NGO sector.
  3. Good administrative and organizational skills.
  4. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
  5. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
  6. Good data entry skills on computers in the office and tablets in the field
  7. Worked previously on various data collection software such as Kobo toolbox, COMM Care and ODK
  8. Good computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Email.
  9. Fluency in Arabic is required (reading, writing, and speaking), fluency in English is an advantage.
