Background:

Sahara Economic Development Organization (SEDO) is an Iraqi National NGO, it’s established in November 2007 as an independent NGO with its main office in Tikrit city. It focuses on developing the economic sector by providing business management training courses and counseling services to entrepreneurs and potential investors to enable them to efficiently contribute to the local economy. SEDO is considered among the most effective and qualified organizations in Iraq. It has conducted economic studies on the business environment in Iraq, identifying business opportunities and market niches for potential investors in Iraq. SEDO started humanitarian intervention in Iraq to respond to the urgent need for our beneficiaries, it’s works in WASH, Livelihood, protection, Food security, and Education sectors.

Data Collector Role

We are searching for a Data Collector to assist us in maintaining our  data database. Your responsibilities will include data entry with an occasional requirement to scan documents. The sources from which you will collect data include public surveys . You should be adept at using computers and mobile devices for uploading data in an efficient manner. The ideal individual will have experience in data collection ..

Data Collector Duties

• Collect data from external and internal sources
• Analyse data and present your findings to management
• Compile data into digestible planograms
• Ensure all data is organised and accurate

Data Collector Requirements:

• Data collection or database management experience
• Organization and research skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Speak and fluent in Kurdish and Arabic language.
• A Deploma’s or Bachelor’s Degree.

Data Collector Desired Experience:

The relevant experience of a Data Collector might include data entry roles, administrative roles, and positions where the individual might update or transmit data. Most Data Collectors have appropriate attributes such as excellent computer skills, proficiency using Microsoft Office, and are detail-oriented.
