As Data Governance Specialist, you will be responsible for the effective and sustained data governance and data management of the University. You will also focus on improving and expanding the current data governance framework in line with the needs of the business and existing road maps.
You will be working with cutting-edge technology in a dynamic, collaborative, and agile team environment.
You will inspire us with a combination of strong technical ability and interpersonal skills.
In this role you will:
- Maintain and improve existing frameworks.
- Classify new data and maintain classification of existing data.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of data governance and management practices.
- Identify and triage any issues in data and implementing controls to mitigate.
- Build and maintain trusted and collaborative stakeholder relationships providing advice and support.
- Engage with technical teams to maintain knowledge of the University’s information architecture and technologies.
This fixed term position is until March 2025, is full time, and will be located at the Callaghan Campus (Awabakal and Worimi land).
What we offer
The remuneration for this position is from $90,316 to $99,655 + 17% superannuation and is commensurate with skills and experience.
