Data Manager – Surgical Registries & Tissue Banks

YOUR ROLE IN OUR FUTURE

• Part-Time Role
• Fixed Term for 1 year (with the possibility of extension)
  
• Classification: HS2
  
• 64 hours a fortnight

These newly created positions will play a vital role in overseeing the maintenance and integrity of surgical cancer registries, clinical and research databases, coordinating data collection activities, managing data entry and quality control processes, and working with lab researchers to coordinate informed consent for patients donating to tissue bank projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge cancer research, improve patient outcomes, and support the advancement of surgical oncology knowledge in Australia. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and collaborative team dedicated to providing excellent patient care and advancing cancer surgery research.

The role requires previous experience in clinical data management, preferably in oncology or cancer research and familiarity with cancer registries, tissue banking regulations, and ethical requirements.

Strong attention to detail, the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and manage multiple priorities will be key to success in the role.
