The Data Program Analyst is responsible for clinical quality and data program activities at the Ward 86 HIV Clinic in the Division of HIV, Infectious Diseases, and Global Medicine (HIVIDGM) at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital (ZSFG). The incumbent will lead gap analyses, propose data related improvements, design and oversee data management systems, and lead implementation and evaluation of implementation for select clinical programming at Ward 86. Areas of responsibility include: production of reports supporting assessment of clinical services delivered through Ward 86; development of data management systems; implementation of data management systems for new and existing clinical programs; data analysis for clinical improvement, performance measures, deliverables for clinical grants and awards; and production of data visualization to support both the clinical and educational missions of Ward 86. The incumbent works in close collaboration with clinic leadership team, quality improvement team, and individual clinical program leads.
The Data Program Analyst must be able to carry out multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining critical attention to detail. It is imperative that this position diplomatically communicates between multiple parties to achieve the desired results and meet deadlines.
This is a one year contract position.

Please note: The compensation ranges listed online for roles not covered by a bargaining unit agreement are very wide, however a job offer will typically fall in the range of 80% – 120% of the established mid-point. An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role.

For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.
