Job Description:Effective delivery of technical support and installations. This will include break-fix tasks, includes hardware,network, cabling and rack deployments, site planning, problem escalation and managing installations.Works primarily at an Oracle datacenter in a “mission critical operations” environmentRequires a 7×24-hours commitment to participate in the regional standby rotation program and shift.Involves On-call shifts which means a driving license and the ability to reach the datacenter site within 60mins.Work in close collaboration to other technical teams & non-technical teams (e.g. networking, compute,compliance, business operations)Understand internal customer problem and provide technical solution in timely mannerParticipate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all production serverhardware, softwareSupport deployment of on-site data center physical infrastructure, structured cabling installation is asignificant part of this positionInstall, Replace and Troubleshoot Cables and HardwareWork within a ticket-based environmentAble to prioritize ticketing queues, resolving escalations, and clearing blocking issues to enable continueddelivery of technician activities in accordance with internal polices and service level agreements. Be awareof, and abide by, Ticket processes and protocol, including OCI Change Management rules.System board level repair and fault diagnosis to SLAsUsing provided tools to do a proper and timely internal reporting.Planning & commissioning new rack positionsInvolvement with the design & commissioning of new whitespacesWorking as part of a multi-disciplinary team without frictionSolid knowledge of fibre and copper cabling.Career Level – IC2Responsibilities:Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance. Understands and applies company policies and procedures.Provides logistical support for on-site hardware activitiesMaintain asset inventory and update internal applications as neededInventory management experience.
