The Department of Fish and Wildlife is seeking four motivated individuals to assist with wildlife monitoring projects in Northern California. These will include fDNA transect monitoring for mule deer, game camera deployment and monitoring, and assisting staff with wildlife captures throughout the Region. We are looking for incumbents that are dedicated, enjoy working in the outdoors, and are passionate about wildlife management and conservation. The successful candidates for these positions will be expected to participate in all aspects of fieldwork including preparation, data collection, and data entry and processing. They must be willing to handle live wildlife and smelly bait/lure, drive and work in remote wilderness areas, and camp in remote field locations up to 3 nights per week.
