About the Dental Technician
As the Dental technician, you’ll working within the Laboratory Team and alongside a multidisciplinary oral health team to run the daily operations of the dental lab. You’ll be responsible for the creation, modification and provision of dental laboratory services.
This is a casual opportunity reporting to the Oral Health Manager.
Working to your full scope of practice, your passion and commitment will see you:
- Contribute to daily operations of the dental laboratory.
- Provide high-quality dental prosthetic appliances.
- Strengthen relationships with clients and stakeholders utilising laboratory services.
- Maintain records and other laboratory documentation.
- Mentor and supervise students (in-line with skills and experience)
To succeed in this role you will have:
- Diploma of Dental Technology, or equivalent.
- 5+ years’ Dental Technician experience (highly desirable), with ability to work to full scope of laboratory practice.
- Experience using technology in dentistry and dental laboratory settings including CAD-CAM dentistry, digital laboratory workflows, use of 3D printing and/or milling equipment (Highly desirable)
- Demonstrated time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to work across systems to develop, maintain, report, invoicing systems
As a YourCH employee in this role you must have:
- A valid Victorian Working with Children Check (employee only)
- A Satisfactory Police Check (paid for by YourCH)
