We are looking for volunteer dentists to join one of our charity partners in Greece, where you will have the opportunity to help create an educated, healthy and dignified life for all displaced people.
As a volunteer dentist in Greece you will provide essential dental care and oral health education to individuals in need, while working closely with forcibly displaced people. For this role, volunteers will be expected to ensure compassionate care while addressing specific needs and challenges, and will help create a supportive environment.
Responsibilities for the role include:
- Performing check-ups, diagnosing and treating dental issues
- Conducting routine procedures such as plaque removal
- Conducting advanced procedures such as root canal treatments
- Offering guidance on maintaining oral hygiene
- Diagnose, treat, and advise on various dental issues
Requirements:
- Proven expertise in addressing teeth and gum problems
- Qualification in Dentistry from accredited institution & dental license
- Ability to implement infection control procedures to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
- Proficiency in the English language
- Resilience and ability to navigate challenging situations
For this role a minimum age of 27 years is required and you are asked to commit at least 2 weeks to the role.
