We are currently looking for a Deputy Director to join the leadership of our growing
team. This is an exciting opportunity to help build an ambitious movement for a just transition
away from oil and gas in the UK.
The Role
Uplift is a high-impact campaigning and research organisation helping to move the UK
towards a fossil fuel-free future. The Deputy Director will work closely with the Executive Director and COO of Uplift to
ensure that we have the strategy, resources, organisational tools, and culture to fulfil
Uplift’s ambitious mission and to thrive as an organisation. In all their work and
relationships, the Deputy Director will reflect Uplift’s core values and principles, which
include collaboration, strategic boldness, and a commitment to climate justice.

Location: Remote within the UK
Salary: from £74,444
Status: Permanent; full-time
Benefits: 3% employer pension contribution, Employee Assistance Programme,
