Summary of Position: The Deputy Director of the Idaho Conservation League (ICL) plays a critical leadership role in advancing ICL’s mission to protect the air you breathe, the water you drink, and the lands and wildlife you love. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Deputy Director is responsible for overseeing and supporting two key departments: Development and External Relations.
This role blends strategy, planning, team leadership, operational oversight, and hands-on support to raise the funds necessary to support ICL’s $3.1 million annual budget, and to grow and engage our membership base through savvy communications and public engagement.

Salary: $87,500-$95,000 DOE
Classification: Full-time exempt
Location: Boise, Idaho
Responsibilities:
Development Department Oversight and Team Leadership (60%)
External Relations Oversight and Team Leadership (30%)
Organizational Operations and Leadership (10%)

Compensation and Benefits:
This position is full-time and located in Boise, Idaho. Idaho Conservation League offers a comprehensive wage and benefits package, generous benefits—paid health, dental, and vision insurance, and a Simple IRA with a 3% match. Salary for this position is $87,500+, depending on experience. The Idaho Conservation League’s programs and employment are open to all.
