About the Position:
In this newly created role, the Deputy Executive Director will serve as a key member of the Leadership Team, overseeing the organization’s operations, finance and development teams, and supporting the design and implementation of our strategic vision.
The Deputy Executive Director will work closely with the Executive Director to ensure that the organization is fully equipped to fulfill its mission. This includes managing the organization’s finances and daily operations and the staff within these teams, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and implementing strategies to maintain a thriving culture and uphold the organization’s core values. The Deputy Executive Director will play an integral role in fundraising by growing and supervising the development team and cultivating and stewarding relationships with major donors. Additionally, the Deputy Executive Director will collaborate closely with the rest of the Leadership Team on strategic visioning and planning processes to achieve Inclusive Development International’s mission and goals.

Compensation and Benefits:
Inclusive Development International is committed to providing competitive, equitable and transparent compensation for staff. The salary range for this role is $115,000 – $140,000, commensurate with experience and adjusted for geographic cost of living in accordance with our Compensation Framework. Working Arrangement:
The majority of Inclusive Development International’s team is globally dispersed and works on a fully remote basis. Our main office is located in Asheville, North Carolina. Asheville-area team members work on a hybrid basis (mix of onsite and work from home). The Deputy Executive Director may be based in Asheville, North Carolina or work remotely from another location within the United States Eastern time zone.
Travel:
Some travel is expected for this position, including up to 1 – 2 international trips per year and occasional domestic travel.
