Implementing a three-year multi-sectoral BMZ funded project with partners IRC and PIN. This role is required to support the Head of Project in the implementation of WHH economic recovery and livelihoods responsibilities within this consortium.

Tasks and duties of the Employee:
Coordinate with Head of Project to provide oversight on the implementation of WHH activities, in line with the proposal, workplan and budget.
- Collaborate with the Head of Project to ensure effective communication with implementing partners and support them to delivery timely project activities.
- Collaborate with the Head of Project to oversee coordination meetings with WHH implementing partners.
- Report to the Head of Porject on implementation progress with timely identification of challenges or barriers.
- Have an oversight of the project budget, plan spending and request budgets from the finance departments in accordance with WHH procedures about using funds.
- Manage the day-to-day tasks of the livelihood officers, ensuring effective engagement with partners and regular field visits to support high quality implementation and identification of capacity gaps.
- Ensure that all output data is reported accurately and efficiently and supports 5W reporting.
- Develop and strengthen relations with key stakeholders and other strategic partners to foster strong community-based approaches.
- Make regular trips to the other WHH offices needed to supervise project teams.
- Lead the development of internal Monthly Progress Reports for the project and update output trackers in coordination with the Area MEAL Officer.
- Support the Head of Programs and in-country Technical Advisors in the development of new proposals as required.
- Collaborate with Head of Project and Technical Advisers to ensure best practices, lessons learned and challenges are documented and shared to support improved quality of implementation.
- Take overall responsibility for office management of Mykolaiv office, being the focal point for coordination between Mykolaiv and Poltava office and Kyiv Country Office.
- Provide office administration support, including but not limited to, overseeing visitors, ensuring office equipment is present and functional for staff, searching for appropriate guest house.
- Onboard new office staff.
- Manage the coordination internally between projects and support department.
- Ensure compliance with WHH’s policies (COC, safeguarding, safety and security)
- Facilitate communication and manage coordination with government agencies, and local stakeholders.
Specific Knowledge:
- Demonstrable experience of working with NGO’s in economic recovery and livelihoods programming.
- Contextual knowledge and understanding of Ukraine response desirable.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Fluent level of verbal and written English.
