This in-house team is looking for an experienced Technical Services manager. In this role, you will have the opportunity to leverage your expertise in pensions administration to support the delivery of exceptional services to scheme members, you will be an integral member of the team.Position Overview
As the Technical Services Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing technical oversight and support to ensure the smooth operation of the pension scheme. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including the legal department, to manage scheme events, handle complaints, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.Responsibilities

• Support Trustee discretionary committees and panels
• Serve as main point of contact with legal team
• Manage delivery of scheme events
• Provide technical oversight on regulatory projects
• Lead complaints handling process
• Review calculations, validate data, support Member Services
• Stay current with relevant legislation
• Oversee provision of technical support
• Act as technical expert on scheme rules, procedures
• Review technical aspects of bulk project work
• Manage and develop team members

Requirements

• Experience in technical role within pensions administration
• Strong knowledge of DB pension schemes
• Operational pensions experience
• Excellent understanding of scheme rules, processes, legislation
• PMI qualification highly advantageous
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong leadership and people management skills
