We are currently seeking an experienced Design Manager with solid experience working for a main contractor to join our client’s team!Design Manager
Hull – Office-based
£45,000 to £50,000 + car allowance
PermanentWe are looking for a Design Manager with a proven track record with a main contractor to join our Hull-based client. What will the Design Manager be doing?

• Managing all aspects of design production, including technical evaluations during the tender phase
• Reviewing design submissions and liaising with design consultants and in-house teams
• Engaging with building control, local planning authorities, and principal design consultants when required
• Attending project team meetings
• Ensuring all design checks are completed, recorded, and compliant with relevant standards
• Attending site when required to assist with surveys and meetings

• Previous experience with a main contractor in construction or modular builds
• Confident IT skills, including proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and Revit
• Comprehensive site experience in construction, engineering, or professional design roles
• Well-developed technical construction knowledge
• Good understanding of Building Regulations, BREEAM, and BIM Level 2 standards
• Full UK driving licence
